We hired Wendy during the early design phase of the fishing lodge at Maverick Ranch to work with three of the ten partners to create a special place along the Arkansas River.  Her vision and ability to guide us through the process resulted in a truly special place.  It was a project two years in the making and she was there with us every step of the way.  She listened to the direction we wanted the lodge to take and executed it magnificently from the paint colors, countertops, flooring, lights, furniture and household goods.  In working with her you could sense that she wanted it to be a special place.  She took the time to interview and research local artists to create pieces of art that showcase the landscape of the Salida area.  She was truly a delight to work with.

Wendy quickly became part of the team and was excellent to work with. She helped design every step of the way, starting with conceptual ideas, all the way through helping to select furniture, lighting, colors, bedding, artwork and more. She visited the property several times to make sure everything was going as planned, even helping one day to set up our new kitchen. She put in the extra effort to choose artwork for the house that was unique to the area, created by local artists. She was quick to converse, brainstorm and answer any questions the team had along the way. We highly recommend her as a designer because she truly cared about our project.

Working with Wendy McTague on our ranch project was a great experience.  Wendy was very professional throughout the project, extremely attentive to the design requirements for the project and worked well with the partners through all aspects of the project.  Her attention to details for the interior finishes and ability to make design decisions that were sensitive to not only the project budget but consistent with overall design intent made that stage of the project seamless.  I would welcome the opportunity to work with Wendy on another project.
